Enjoy this midsummer challenge of 100 or 50 KM routes starting and finishing in the heart of Oxford.

From the start at Oxpens Meadows the routes tour beautiful Oxforshire country lanes heading towards the Chiltern Hills, bringing you back to finish on the banks of the Thames to enjoy refreshments, live music and a well-earned drink in the beer tent!

Other info

MINIMUM AGE 14 YRS on 100 km route and 12 YRS on 50 km route. All riders under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult over 18yrs.
It is recommended that all riders wear a helmet. A selection of helmets will be available for purchase on the day.

** We recommend that all riders have both bike and personal liability insurances as we cannot be held responsible for damage, loss or theft of your bike or personal items or personal liability.**
GPX routes are available after online booking.

Ride Gradings

Suitable for anyone who enjoys a reasonably active life. The pace is gentle and the terrain flat to undulating. Distances no more than 30 miles (50km).

Suitable for those with slightly more cycling experience. the terrain can be a little hillier than grade 1.5 and distances up to 45 miles (70km).

For the regular and reasonably fit cyclist. The terrain may include some challenging hills and distances up to 75 miles (110km).

These routes require a good level of fitness and stamina and feature challenging inclines and/or a longer time in the saddle. Distances can be up to 100 miles (160km).

Getting here by car

From A34 Botley Interchange - follow A420 toward central Oxford and look for our signs. From A40 Headington Roundabout follow A4142/A423 Eastern By-Pass then A4144 Abingdon Rd. toward central Oxford and look for our signs.
Parking - City of Oxford College opposite finish area (OX1 1SA) from 5.30am Sunday morning: it's 'first come, first served' (£10/day cash only).
